Clear profiles, on-platform communication and protected payments help owners and sitters make informed decisions.
Profile and identity information
Review the profile, verification indicators, service details and availability before sending or accepting a request. Verification status is shown on the profile when available.
- Keep profile and contact information accurate.
- Discuss the pet’s needs before confirming the booking.
- Use the in-app booking and messaging flow so the agreement is recorded.
Booking-linked reviews
Reviews associated with completed bookings help both sides assess previous experiences. Read the full review history, not only the average score.
Protected payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe. ArcaBooking does not store full card details on its own servers.
🔒 Keep payments on the platform
If someone asks for cash or a direct transfer, do not proceed and report the request. Off-platform transactions are outside the booking and payment workflow.
Emergencies
If a person or animal is in immediate danger, contact the local emergency services first (112). Then inform the owner or sitter and contact ArcaBooking support with the booking details.
