How to assess a dog-walking service
A walk is agreed around duration, an indicative route and the dog's needs. Always check the sitter's experience, covered area and real availability before requesting it.
What to agree
- duration and time window
- pace, breaks and route guidance
- lead handling, encounters and toileting
- the update expected during or after the service
When it may be suitable
For dogs needing exercise, continuity in their routine or an outing when their owner cannot be there. Age, health and behaviour should guide duration and intensity.
What to prepare
- the usual harness or collar and lead
- information about fears, reactivity and recall
- contacts and instructions for unexpected events
- water, accessories or other agreed needs
Coverage and limits
Availability depends on active sitters in the area and requested dates. GPS routes, photos and Live Mode are available only when included in the service and booking.
